Cardiff Bus
Crwys Road, Cardiff, will be closed in both directions on the following dates and times for resurfacing and table installation:
- Sunday 25 July from 0800 to 2000
- Sunday 1 August from 0800 to 2000
- Sunday 8 August from 0800 to 2100
- Sunday 15 August from 0800 to 2000
Services 8 & 9 will divert between Churchill Way and Gladstone School/Cathays Library via Dumfries Place, Park Place and Cathays Terrace in both directions. Bus stops along Newport Road, City Road and Crwys Road will not be served by services 8 and 9.
Customers who require to travel from Cardiff Bay and Grangetown to City Road or the lower end of Crwys Road will need to change buses at Churchill Way onto services 52, 57/58 to Albany Road or service 28B from Station Terrace to Albany Road; or for customers who require to travel to the top end of Crwys Road, then stay on the 8 / 9 diverted bus and alight at Gladstone School.
Customers who require to travel from Crwys Road and City Road to Grangetown and Cardiff Bay will need to catch services 28B, 52, 57 or 58 from Albany Road, Richmond Road or West Grove and change in the city centre for services 8 & 9 from Customhouse Street.
Customers who would normally board/alight along Newport Road, City Road or Crwys Road, will need to use bus stops at Cathays Library (Whitchurch Road) for services 8 or 9; or stops on Albany Road, Richmond Road or West Grove and use services 28B, 52, 57/58 as an alternative.
