Cardiff Bay Beach

Cardiff Bay Beach- Saturday 20th July until Sunday 1st September 2019

A much loved summer attraction for locals and visitors alike, the Capital FM Cardiff Bay Beach returns to the Roald Dahl Plass from Saturday 20th July until Sunday 1st September. This popular event brings a bit of the beach right into the city for you to enjoy on your lunch break, with the kids at the weekend or for a catch up with friends!

This year, the new and improved Cardiff Bay Beach will be open for 6 weeks so that even more of you have the opportunity to experience summer in the city. The Beach will feature a shallow water play area for the little ones to splash around and have fun in the sun, alongside a massive child-friendly beach to build as many sandcastles as your heart desires. There will also be a big wheel, where you can admire Cardiff Bay’s breath-taking views from high in the sky.

If that wasn’t enough, there will also be a whole host of rides and games, free live entertainment and delicious food and drink, including a new ice cream parlour, BBQ grills, sweet treats and exotic cocktails.

What’re you waiting for? Head on down to Cardiff Bay Beach! To find out more, visit the official Cardiff Bay Beach website or Visit Cardiff’s event page.
