Heol Goch, Pentyrch from 14:50pm to 15:20pm from its junction with Heol y Pentre to its junction with Berthllwyn.
Penlline Road, Whitchurch 10:15am until 12:00pm from its junction with Merthyr Road to its junction with Roundabout at Kelston Road.
Heol Isaf, Radyr 10:30am until 12:30pm from its junction with Windsor Road to its junction with Rectory Close and King’s Road from its junction with Heol Isaf to its junction with Taff Terrace.
Lisvane Road 10:45am to 11:10am from its junction with Church Road to Clos Coed Y Dafarn

Operator Information
Radyr (service 63)
Buses departing the city centre at 09:55, 10:55 and 11:55 will only travel as far as Danescourt Way (Heol Seddon)
Buses scheduled to depart Creigiau at 10:45, 11:45 and 12:45 will not serve Creigiau or Radyr, but will instead begin their journeys from Danescourt Way.
Penarth (services 92 & 94)
The road closures in Penarth are due to be completed in two phases.
The 09:59 92 service, 10:12 94 service and 12:12 94 service towards Cardiff will follow their normal route to the Cefn Mably pub (94) / Redlands Road (92) then divert via Redlands Road, Barry Road and Barons Court before continuing along their normal route into the city centre at Penarth Road.
The 10:00 and 12:00 94 services from Cardiff towards Barry will follow its normal route to the Barons Court then divert via Barry Road and Redlands Road to the Cefn Mably before returning to its normal route through Sully to Barry.
Barry (services 94, 95, 96A & 100)
Traffic around the Cenotaph in Barry may be held for a short time at 11:00 whilst people stand silent to pay their respects.
Rumney (service 45)
Buses departing the city centre at 10:21 and 10:51 towards St Mellons, and those departing St Mellons towards the city centre at 10:22 and 10:52 will divert via New Road in both directions, not along Wentloog Road and Cae Glas Road.
Old St Mellons (service 30)
The 10:30 service 30 from Newport will follow its normal route to Newport Road / Llaneirwg Way then divert via Llaneirwg Way, Greenway Road, New Road and Newport Road before returning to its normal route.
Whitchurch (services 21, 23, 24 & 25)
Penlline Road will be closed between 10:15 and 12:00. During these times buses will divert along Church Road, Heol Don and Velindre Road in both directions.
The following road closures for Remembrance Sunday 11th November 2018 will occur affecting bus services:
ABERDARE
- Bus 172 departure at 11:00 will leave from the bottom of Monk Street at 11:05, as the main street is closed.
BLAENAVON High Street 10:00 – 13:00
- Bus X24 during this period will finish and start on Cwmavon Road and use the roundabout to turn back south.
PONTYPOOL Park Rd / Clarence Street 11:45 – 13:00
- Bus 15 will operate via Hospital Road and X24 via the By Pass beside Tesco during this period. Clarence Roundabout if open will be used to drop off or pick up passengers.
PONTNEWYDD New Street / Richmond Road 10:30 – 11:30
- Bus 15 will be unable to operate via Pontnewydd and will divert via St David's Road
NEW INN The Highway 10:00 – 12:00
- Bus 15 may be caught behind a parade and expect a short delay until your bus arrives
OLD CWMBRAN Wesley Street / St Dials
- Bus 6 and 15 may be caught behind a parade and expect a short delay until your bus arrives
NEWPORT
- Bus 15 and X24 will be able to access the Bus station except when the parade is travelling along Kingsway / Old green. During this time expect a short delay in your bus journey.
TONYPANDY
- In Tonypandy buses will divert to reach or leave Tonypandy Bus Station via the Tonypandy Link Road
PONTYPRIDD
- In Pontypridd buses will reach and leave the town via the Sainsbury roundabout
BLAEBNRHONDDA
- Blaenrhondda will be closed and we will only serve Blaencwm
WHITCHURCH 10:15-12:00
- Whitchurch in Cardiff will be closed for a Parade and buses will divert via Manor Way
Newport Bus wishes to advise customers that on the above date a number of services will operate via diversionary routes to allow the Remembrance Day Parade to take place between High Street and Clarence Place.
2A Gaer – The 10:20 2A will operate as a 2C along Cardiff Road inbound and outbound.
6 Alway – From first service this route will operate via George Street Bridge and Wharf Road onto Chepstow Road in both directions. This diversion will remain in place until the 12:20 service.
8A/8C Ringland – From first service the 8A/8C route will operate via George Street Bridge and Wharf Road onto Chepstow Road in both directions. This diversion will remain in place until the 12:50 8C service.
15/16 Bettws – From first service the 15/16 route will operate via Kingsway under the Old Green Roundabout rejoining Malpas Road at Harlequin Roundabout.This diversion will remain in place until the 12:40 15 service.
19E Malpas – From first service the 19E route will operate via Kingsway under the Old Green Roundabout rejoining Malpas Road at Harlequin Roundabout. This diversion will remain in place until the 12:50 service.
27/28 Caerleon - From first service the 27/28 route will operate via the bypass (A4042) under the Old Green and Heidenheim Drive to Llanfrechfa, Ponthir and College Glade in both directions. This diversion will remain in place until the 12:30 28 Service.
42/43 Moorland Park - From First service the 42/43 route will operate via George Street Bridge where it will rejoin Corporation Road. This diversion will remain in place until the 12:30 42 Service
All services will return to normal service once the parade is over.
Our staff will also be asked to observe a Two Minute Silence at 11am, to remember and honour those who have paid the the ultimate price for our freedom.
At 11am our driving staff will be asked to pull in safely to the nearest bus stop on their route in order to observe the silence. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
